| From 1972 to 1974,more than 8,000 Han bamboo slips were unearthed at the Jiaqu Houguan Site in Pochengzi and the Fourth Tunnel of Jiaqusai in Ejina Banner,Inner Mongolia.Juyan New Slips are extremely rich in style, presenting the most diverse styles of calligraphy: seal script, official script, official cursive script,Xingkai script, and regular script.Although Juyan New Slips are written by frontier calligraphers, most of them are highly artistic. This article takes Juyan’s new bamboo slips as the analysis object, and divides it into three parts around Juyan’s new slips of calligraphy: The first part is an overview of Juyan’s new slips.Juyan’s new slips are in the evolutionary stage of the drastic change of calligraphy, and various calligraphic styles and prototypes of calligraphy have emerged in a concentrated manner, fully presenting the evolution of calligraphy and the diversity of calligraphy styles in Chinese calligraphy in the Han Dynasty. The second part is the specific analysis and introduction of Juyan’s new slips of calligraphy and pen.Official script, cursive script, new style with line and regular strokes were the main fonts in this period, seal script only had two four sides, and the new style of slips that really contained regular script strokes had three eight sides, indicating that seal script had already been withdrawn from daily practical writing at this time Practical stage, not used in daily writing, the font is gradually changing.Official script is in the middle stage, some are in use in the form of official script, and some are in the stage of evolution to cursive regular script. The third part is to introduce the artistic value of Juyan Xinjian. The fourth part is the sorting and sorting of the slips in Juyan’s new slips in chronological order. The appendix of the fourth part is to list the codes of the chronological slips in the seven volumes of "Juyan New Slips and Interpretations" edited by Zhang Defang and Sun Zhanyu in sequential order. The pictures are arranged in chronological order.According to my collation of the chronological slips and slips in Juyan’s new slips, there are a total of 551 slips and slips with definite dates. These dated Han bamboo slips were first written in the period of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty in 110 B.C.The style and appearance of the characters on the bamboo slips open a window for us to understand ancient characters, and intuitively reflect the real writing state of the characters at that time. There is an indescribably important value in research. In this way, everyone can see the changes before and after the style of the book at a glance. |
