animation adaptations.This article is divided into five chapters.Chapter 1 Introduction is based on the current Chinese animation industry’s development of Chinese mythology-themed animation works as a research basis,and respectively studies the animation works of the "Nezha" genealogy,domestic mythology-themed animations,and the relationship between domestic animation and Chinese traditional culture.After sorting out,we will explore the current situation and pain points of the adaptation of domestic mythology-themed animation works,and put forward the research question of this paper:how does the Chinese myth prototype show the root of Chinese spirit and national culture in animation creation.The research on this key issue is the value and significance of this paper.The innovation of this paper is to use the research perspective of myth-prototype criticism to explain the meaning and possibility of the conversion of national myths to animation works through the analysis of the mythic archetype of "Nezha" and its historical evolution.The second chapter interprets the "Nezha" as the prototype of mythology in the retrospect of the image of "Nezha" in the texts of religion,mythology and fiction.The image of "Nezha" first appeared in religion and mythology,and the filling of its story text originated from the literary processing of later novels.This series of image transformations are all artistic practices centered on the prototype,and are the "Nezha".Animation recaps and prototype analysis provide the textual basis.The third chapter is from the analysis
