Compilation And Research Of Newly Discovered Qin Pottery Inscriptions In The Past Fifteen Year

Yuan Zhongyi and Liu Yu’s New Compilation of Qin Pottery Script(2009)is a collection of works that specially collected Qin pottery script after Pottery Script of Qin Dynasty(1987),the materials of Qin pottery script before 2005 were collected and sorted is a total of 3,370 pieces.On the basis of New Compilation of Qin Pottery Script,this article collects the newly unearthed Qin pottery script materials since 2005 and the materials that were missed in the New Compilation of Qin Pottery Script.A total of more than 1900 pieces are collected and charts are made,some of Qin pottery script are unclear and the quantity is unknown.This article organizes and studies its content to provide new materials for the study of Qin characters.This article mainly consists of four parts:The first part is the introduction.First,the introduction introduces the description and research overview of Pottery Script’s discovery,then,the introduction introduces Qin pottery script ’s discovery and research,this section is divided into two parts before and after 2005 according to the time node of the data collection of New Compilation of Qin Pottery Script,at last,the introduction introduces the purpose,significance and some explanations of this article.The second part is the research on the classification of the newly discovered Qin pottery script and its characters.The newly discovered Qin pottery script are divided into three categories: stamped pottery script,inscribed pottery script,and written pottery script,There are a large number of stamped pottery Script,which are the main components of the newly discovered Qin pottery script,it can also be divided into five categories for research according to its pottery script age,pottery script carrier,imprint shape,pottery script number,and pottery script nature.The comparative analysis of the characters of the newly discovered Qin pottery script from horizontal and vertical aspects,the horizontal is the comparison of the newly discovered Qin pottery script and the pottery script of other countries in the same period,and the vertical is the comparison of the newly discovered Qin pottery script with the small seal script.Through comparison,the unique style characteristics of the newly discovered Qin pottery script are summarized and analyzed.The third part is a brief explanation of the content classification of the newly discovered Qin pottery script.On the basis of the classification of Qin pottery script in New Compilation of Qin Pottery Script,the newly discovered Qin pottery script materials are added,a tendency judgment and explanation are made.There are more than 1,600 pieces of pottery script stamped,and more than 300 pieces of pottery inscribed and written.The content of inscribed and written pottery inscriptions is relatively random,and the number is small,therefore,this article focuses on the study of stamped pottery script.According to its content,it can be divided into the pottery script of the central official pottery workshops,the official pottery workshops,the city pavilion pottery workshops,the private pottery workshops,and other types of pottery script,and each type of pottery script is explained in detail.The appendix is The Newly Discovered Qin Pottery Script Information Statistical Table and The Glyph Division Comparison Table.The Newly Discovered Qin Pottery Script Information Statistical Table has the content,nature,category,quantity,vessel type,bibliographic information,pottery pictures and other information of each newly discovered Qin pottery script are included and numbered.The Glyph Division Comparison Table takes the newly discovered Qin pottery script as the prefix,a total of387 prefixes,arranged according to the 540 parts of Shuo Wen Jie Zi,and each prefix lists the font size,italics,and the small seal script,and separate the pottery characters of other countries.
