"Xia" is a cultural phenomenon based on a certain behavior and concept,and also a character type with unique cultural and literary color.The "Xia" image appearing in Chuanqi script of the late Ming Dynasty is vivid and magnificent.However,at present,there are many research results on the image of "Xia" in novels,and there is room for further exploration on the image of "Xia" in operas.The "Xia" in Chuanqi script of the late Ming Dynasty as a type of character image is unique,therefore,this paper focuses on the "Xia" image in Chuanqi script of the late Ming Dynasty,and on the basis of inheriting previous research,comprehensively collects and sorts out the Chuanqi works about "Xia" in the late Ming Dynasty and related materials.Starting from the text analysis,combined with the situation of "Xia" in literature and history,the Chuanqi of "Xia" image materials,"Xia" image type,"Xia" image characteristics,spiritual connotation and shaping art of the late Ming Dynasty are studied.The study content of this paper consists of seven parts,divided into five chapters.The introduction part mainly discusses the significance of topic selection,research status and research method.At present,the relevant research on the image of "Xia" is focused on the field of novels,and less attention to the image of "Xia" is paid in Chuanqi script of the late Ming Dynasty.The first chapter is about the text of the image of "Xia" in Chuanqi script of the late Ming Dynasty.First of all,the image of "Xia" is traced to the source,and the meaning of "Xia" is defined on the basis of understanding the evolution of the "Xia" image in this article.Secondly,statistics are related to the "Xia" works in Chuanqi script of the late Ming Dynasty.According to the standard of "Xia" defined in this paper,there are 44 kinds of "Xia" works involved in Chuanqi script of the late Ming Dynasty,involving 60 "Xia" characters.The second chapter clarifies and classifies the source and subject matter of the "Xia" image in Chuanqi script of the late Ming Dynasty.There are 5 kinds of Chuanqi scripts involving "Xia" image content in history books,18 kinds of Chuanqi scripts involving "Xia" image content in Chuanqi works,and 21 kinds of Chuanqi scripts involving newly created "Xia" image content.The third chapter analyzes the types of "Xia" image in Chuanqi script of the late Ming Dynasty.First of all,according to the external activity space of "Xia","Xia" is divided into four categories: "Xia" of market,"Xia" of green forest,"Xia" of public gate and "Xia" of square.It can be seen that "Xia" has a wide range of activity world.Secondly,according to the inner motivation of "Xia","Xia" is divided into four categories: the "Xia" of gratitude,the "Xia" of revenge,the "Xia" of justice and the "Xia" of serving the country,which shows that "Xia" has a variety of reasons for chivalry.The fourth chapter discusses the characteristics and spiritual connotation of the "Xia" image in Chuanqi script of the late Ming Dynasty.In Chuanqi script of the late Ming Dynasty,the "Xia" image presents outstanding appearance,extraordinary morphology,style has strong martial arts,brilliant characteristics,many "Xia" image has the emotional trend of chivalrous tenderness,as well as the end of life that is out of seclusion and transcendence.The image of "Xia" in Chuanqi script of the late Ming Dynasty inherits the spiritual quality of the previous generation of chivalrous men.It has the spiritual connotation of happy gratitude and revenge,paying attention to fame and integrity,paying attention to friendship and neglecting life,helping the needy,eradicating evil and punishing evil.It also transformed and expanded the traditional chivalrous spirit,showing the spiritual characteristics of making contributions to the country,deeply understanding justice and returning to the court.The spiritual characteristics of the image of "Xia" in Chuanqi script in the late Ming Dynasty are related to the style of advocating chivalry and justice,the ideological trend of social psychology,the educational dilemma of Confucianism,and the aesthetic psychology of Chuanqi.The fifth chapter explores the artistic characteristics of the image of "Xia" in Chuanqi script of the late Ming Dynasty.Chuanqi is both on-the-spot art and desk literature.Therefore,the Shaping Art of
