Brain-computer interface technology(Brain-Computer Interface technology)is a high-tech technology that does not rely on the normal neuro-muscular system,but connects the brain with external devices,and directly controls external devices with the brain’s EEG signals.Since its birth in 1973,brain-computer interface technology has been initially applied in the field of rehabilitation therapy.It can assist patients with limb paralysis to complete many tasks,such as grasping,walking and so on.The use of brain-computer interface technology for assisted rehabilitation can greatly improve the patient’s mobility and quality of life.In the future,with the in-depth development of high-tech such as brain-computer artificial intelligence and big data,brain-computer interface technology will have a larger application space and will completely change the production and life of human beings.However,everything has two sides.While brain-computer interface technology brings great convenience to human society,it also contains many ethical risks.Once these ethical risks appear,they will bring irreversible disasters to human society and ecosystems.Therefore,before brain-computer interface technology is widely used,it is necessary to systematically sort out the ethical risks that brain-computer interface technology may bring to human society and ecosystems,analyze the root causes of ethical risks,and then find countermeasures.This paper uses literature analysis,causal analysis and comprehensive analysis to discuss in four chapters.The first chapter discusses the concept,classification,application,and impact on human society of brain-computer interface technology,and then discusses the ethical connotation and ethical risk of brain-computer interface technology.The safety ethics risk,privacy ethics risk,fairness ethics risk,free will ethics risk,responsibility ethics risk,bioethics risk and ecological ethics risk existing in brain-computer interface technology;The reasons for the ethical risks of brain-computer interface technology are analyzed in detail from three aspects: the lack of ethical literacy of relevant subjects of interface technology and the lack of sound ethical regulation of brain-computer interface technology.The coping strategies of the ethical risks of brain-computer interface technology are respectively expounded in four aspects: the technical avoidance strategy of the ethical risk of computer interface technology,the improvement of the ethical literacy of the relevant subjects of brain-computer interface technology,and the establishment of targeted ethical regulatory measures for brain-computer interface technology.This research can not only help the public fully understand the potential risks of brain-computer interface technology,but also provide a reference for relevant government departments to regulate the ethical risks of brain-computer interface technology.However,the ethical risks of brain-computer interface technology are dynamic and unpredictable.It is difficult for humans to predict all possible ethical risks,and it is impossible to give all solutions to avoid ethical risks.The key to dealing with ethical risks is to treat brain-computer interface technology with a prudent attitude and actively guide the development of brain-computer interface technology in the direction of benefiting mankind and being ecologically friendly.Facing the coming era of brain-computer interface,human beings should neither be blindly optimistic nor give up food because of choking,but should actively embrace brain-computer interface technology,make rational use of brain-computer interface technology,transform human beings while transforming technology,and finally realize human beings.Co-development of society and brain-computer interface technology. |
