Study On Female Images In Yan’an Woodcut Prints During The Anti-Japanese War

In the arduous Anti-Japanese War,literary and artistic propaganda played an important role in leading thought and condensing the forces of the Anti-Japanese War.As one of the most important and effective propaganda methods,woodcut prints have the advantages of convenient production,easy portability,and good propaganda effect.Woodblock prints of various themes have played a role in propaganda and support for the War of Resistance.The purpose of studying these woodcut prints from the perspective of women is not just to understand the artistic value of woodcut prints,but to explore the spirit in the hearts of art workers at that time and to understand the propaganda status of woodcut prints through these woodcut prints.The particularity of Yan’an’s literary and artistic work determines the importance of woodcut prints.Woodcut prints drawn during the revolutionary period have been made into important tools of struggle and become a thick and colorful section of Yan’an’s literary and artistic history.It is not only the composition of Chinese literature and art in the first half of the 20 th century In part,it shaped the basic prototype of new Chinese literature and art,and determined the future trend.This paper takes Yan’an woodcut prints as the center,from the perspective of interdisciplinary research,using historical,sociology,art and other theoretical resources and methods to examine the female images in it,and to explore and study the female images in Yan’an woodcut prints.Through the investigation of the female images in Yan’an woodcut prints,it is found that the female images in Yan’an woodcut prints have the relationship of independence and juxtaposition.Under the influence of factors such as ideology,nationalism,folk culture,literary and artistic policies,and the recipient’s vision,it has effectively promoted the women’s liberation movement,effectively improved the political identity of the people,played a role in political and economic mobilization,and demonstrated value leadership.It has the function of uniting people’s hearts,and has the characteristics of political literature and art.
