Maurice Ravel is the representative figure of French Impressionist music style,and is an important composer in the late 19 th and early 20 th century,who plays a connecting role in the transition period of music creation techniques.Known as the "master of orchestration",Ravel was known for his ability to explore the performance of his instruments in search of a richer orchestration of colors,and these characteristics are most vividly reflected in his orchestral works.“ Rapsodie Espagnole ” is his first important orchestral work,one of the representative works of his creative career,and is described as a work created in the way of depicting oil paintings.This paper mainly analyzes the orchestration technology of this orchestral work,and tries to find the composer’s unique orchestration style.This paper will study this orchestral work through the following three chapters:The first chapter is the composer and the introduction of this work;The second part introduces the orchestra arrangement and musical structure of the work;The third part analyzes the orchestration technology of this orchestral work from three aspects;The fourth part uses audio waveform to analyze the relationship between structure and orchestration;The final part is my orchestral work was inspired by Ravel’s “Rapsodie Espagnole” in terms of orchestration.
