| Berlioz’s dramatic symphony Romeo and Juliet has attracted public attention because of its special genre name of "dramatic Symphony",and the form of cantata in the final movement has become another symphony with cantata nature after Beethoven’s Symphony No.9.The title and drama are the important principles of the creation of this work,which is a work with more detailed title content after the Symphonies of Fantasy and Harald in Italy,marking the further development of the narrative mode of the title symphony.This paper analyzes the narrative characteristics of Romeo and Juliet by analyzing the narrative mode of drama and music,and deeply studies the creative significance and value of Berlioz’s dramatic symphony. |
