Tao Yuanming had immortal personality charm and superb poetic achievements,which had a profound influence on later generations.Especially in the field of literature and art,dramatists had reconstructed the image of Tao Yuanming in the Yuan,Ming and Qing dynasties and produced many classic drama works.At present,there are 11 opera works in yuan,Ming and Qing dynasties,including 2Yuan opera works,4 Ming opera works and 5 Qing opera works.According to the script system,they are divided into zaju and legend.This paper will study drama works,refining the main content of the drama works,study on Tao Yuanming’s image art,language of art,clothing art,and stage art,and explore the value of text.The playwrights reconstructed the image of Tao Yuanming according to the historical biography and Tao Yuanming’s poetry works.The common ideal of seclusion was the reason that led them to choose Tao Yuanming’s image to enter the opera creation.Under the common influence of different times environment and personal aesthetic tendency,playwrights living in different historical periods created different images of Tao Yuanming in the opera texts.In the Yuan dynasty,Tao Yuanming’s drama works shaping the image of Tao Yuanming who was close to farm,honest and self-disciplined,and love chrysanthemum.The drama works in Ming Dynasty focus on the characteristics of Tao Yuanming,who was proficient in literature and military,indifferent to fame and wealth,addicted to alcohol,gentle and kind,and close to Buddhism.In the qing Dynasty,the opera works are the most abundant,in which tao Yuanming is a carefree wine fairy,a retired scholar,an elegant gentleman and a poetic aesthete.With the widespread acceptance of the image of Tao Yuanming by the literati in Ming and Qing Dynasties,the image of Tao Yuanming became more three-dimensional and diversified.Despite these works all re-emerge Tao yuanming reclusion’s story,but in different times,subject tendency is different.Yuan dynasty dramatist under the darkness of the political environment,the heart still eager to earners,so Yuan works show the positive as officials of the theme tendency.The Ming dynasty playwrights were always in the ambivalence between official and hidden,so the Ming works had showed the theme tendency of unwilling to hermit.The dramatists of the Qing Dynasty regarded the image of Tao Yuanming as a "symbol of seclusion" and raised the ideal of seclusion in their opera works.These drama works weer span the yuan,Ming and Qing dynasties,and have different interpretations in the script system,qu pai application and trade division.This paper will analyzes the development and changes of these drama works in the script system,so as to grasp the overall development of drama art in different historical periods and different development stages. |
