Human resource is an important source of enterprise vitality,and employee motivation is one of the most important issues in enterprise human resource management.Our country is now in the context of building cultural self-confidence,and Shanxi mer-chants once dominated the business world for 500 years.Its shops and business names span across the Eurasian continent,and it has become one of the world’s most important business gangs.The reason why Shanxi mer-chants can be rich in the world is largely due to the incentive mechanism in management and operation,that is,the shareholding system.The shareholding system is also the earliest incentive method to use shares as employee incentives in history.This paper takes the management and operation system of Shanxi merchants in Ming and Qing Dynasties as the main research object.On the basis of previous research,through sorting out and researching the organizational management and operation mechanism of Shanxi merchants in Ming and Qing Dynasties,it digs deeply into the problem of employee incentives in human resource management.countermeasures.In the previous researches on Shanxi merchants,the problem of incentives is mostly based on the incentives for managers,but in the management mechanism of Shanxi merchants,the research on the incentives of ordinary employees is rarely discussed.This paper focuses on the impact and role of Shanxi merchants in the implementation of employee incentives,management organizational structure,personnel selection,and the shareholding system on employee incentives,and extracts inspiration for contemporary enterprises.The article uses the SWOT analysis method to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the Shanxi businessman’s shareholding system,combined with Shanxi businessmen who are deeply infiltrated by Confucianism,to enlighten modern enterprises in multiple directions.It provides theoretical support for enterprises to establish innovative social credit means and equity incentive mechanism,enriches the existing literature,and provides solutions for the problem of employee incentives in enterprise human resource management.
