Research On Motion Poster Design Based On Narrative Theory

With the rapid development of digital technology,the new media era has arrived.From communication methods to communication context,and even to people’s aesthetic psychology and cognitive thinking,significant changes have occurred.Visual design expression has also shifted from traditional static modes to dynamic expressions.Motion poster design has become a new favorite of design due to its interactive,interesting,and multi-dimensional characteristics of audio-visual integration.Its increase in the dimension of time and space,incorporating dynamic,sound,and interaction elements,presents a vivid and profound narrative effect in information dissemination.Regardless of the form of expression or functional level,motion posters have unique advantages.This article aims to explore the narrative strategy of motion poster design through the perspective of narrative theory,focusing on the characteristics and advantages of motion posters,in order to excavate more distinctive and charming expressions in the digital era,and achieve the best effect in narrative expression and information dissemination,thereby promoting the better development of motion poster design.This article organizes the content related to motion posters and narrative theory,analyzes the narrative strategy of motion poster design comprehensively and systematically by combining the narrative perspective of motion posters,narrative time and space,and narrative plot.Firstly,the concept and development factors of motion posters are analyzed in the context of the times and through case studies,and the concept of narrative theory and the combination of narrative and design are explained to provide relevant theoretical support for the exploration of motion poster design narrative in later chapters.Secondly,starting from the narrative difficulties in current motion poster presentation,combined with narrative theories such as animation narrative and film narrative,the narrative perspective,narrative time and space,and narrative plot of motion posters are analyzed to find suitable analysis angles and feasible design ideas for narrative-based motion posters.Thirdly,the design concepts that conform to narrative logic are summarized from the transformation of dynamic elements into narrative,the principles of motion poster narrative,and the design methods of motion poster narrative,and the technical support for dynamic realization is discussed.Finally,combined with the future trends of digital technology and dynamic design,the development trend of narrative-based motion poster design is predicted.
