| Medical documentaries are different from other images in that they can truly record and reflect real-life medical problems,which is an emerging theme that has risen in recent years.Especially after the outbreak of the new crown pneumonia epidemic in 2020,medical and health issues have received more attention,and medical documentaries have also ushered in their own golden period in many humanities documentaries showing different social styles because they can truly present problems in the medical field and meet the needs of the audience.This research focuses on medical documentaries as the goal,based on narrative theory as the research basis,the work "Respiratory Doctor Wang Xiaoping" from multiple dimensions to carry out in-depth exploration and research on the narrative strategy of medical theme documentaries,in order to sort out and summarize the narrative characteristics of China’s current medical theme documentaries,to provide a valuable reference for the subsequent development of medical theme documentary narratives,at the same time,the author through the filming of his personal work "Respiratory Doctor Wang Xiaoping",showing the real doctor’s living environment and doctor-patient relationship ecology,in order to have some positive impact in terms of condensing social consensus,guiding public opinion,optimizing doctor-patient relationship and creating a healthy and positive medical environment.The theoretical research of the paper is divided into six parts,the first part is the introduction,which first explains the research significance of the current medical documentary film,the theoretical and practical levels,the systematic combing of domestic and foreign literature,and introduces the research methods used by the author in the process of writing the paper.The second part first summarizes the relevant concepts of medical documentaries,and secondly straightens out the development stages of medical documentaries in China,summarizes the phased characteristics of medical documentaries according to the characteristics of each period,and argues them with examples.The third part mainly starts from the narrative theme of the current medical documentary in China,and after systematically sorting out the medical documentary in various periods,it is divided into the triple themes of trauma,ethics and popular science,and typical cases are selected for analysis.The fourth part mainly expounds the narrative perspective of medical documentaries,which divides the narrative perspective of medical documentaries into three types:omniscient perspective,limited knowledge perspective and multiple perspective according to the narrative theory of Genet et al.,and analyzes theories and cases.The fifth part is to sort out the narrative structure of the current medical documentaries,divide the structural types into scattered perspective structure and progressive structure,and further explain the narrative structure characteristics of China’s medical documentaries at this stage,supplemented by excellent cases for argumentation.The sixth part mainly summarizes narrative expression from the level of audiovisual language,including empty shots,long shots and montages of visual language,as well as the simultaneous sound,interview and music of auditory language,and studies the video narrative expression of medical documentaries.The seventh part provides some ideas for the creation and research of medical documentaries based on the shortcomings and prospects of personal works,combined with the innovation points and problems found in practice,combined with theories and examples,in order to help the development of medical documentaries. |
