Medical documentaries record and reproduce the medical world,and use video and sound to "creatively process" the events in the medical field.Therefore,in a sense,medical documentary is a kind of narrative art,while ensuring the truth,it does not lose the fresh activity of the story,the fluency of expression and the depth of meaning.So that the audience can better accept the value of medical documentaries and achieve narrative effect,which is beneficial to the development of medical documentaries.This article takes the medical documentary "Taiping" as the research object,through the image acquisition,the production arrangement,the narrative ethics and so on aspects carries on the analysis,to carry on the analysis to the medical documentary's narrative strategy.The documentary,"Taiping",aimed at the departments of hospital morgue,emergency department,intensive care unit and so on,through nearly eight months of squatting records,tries to show the working status of these departments and the details of the life of patients and family members.The film reflects the different attitudes of people with different identities towards death,enhances the understanding of health care workers,and arouses the audience through filming and recording the real working status of medical workers and the separation of life from death and the real working state of medical and medical workers in the hospital,so as to reflect the different attitudes of people with different identities towards death.Thinking about the true meaning of life.Through the analysis of the narrative strategy of medical documentary,the narrative structure and means of medical documentary can be summarized,and then the aesthetic value and social significance of medical documentary can be strengthened.This is also the direction of the development of medical documentaries.
