The construction of the legal system for punishing corruption in revolutionary bases coalesced the mass centripetal force of revolutionary cadres and improved the combat effectiveness of revolutionary armies,and its emergence had its specific historical factors and met the needs of social development at that time.The construction of the legal system for punishing corruption in the revolutionary base areas has gone through three stages: the initial creation during the Agrarian Revolution,the development during the Anti-Japanese War,and the advancement during the Liberation War.At the legislative level,the CPC used party regulations to guide the construction of the legal system to punish corruption in the revolutionary base areas,while the laws to punish corruption in the revolutionary base areas were constantly improved in terms of the setting of crimes,the penalty system,the sentencing and sentencing principles,showing the dynamic development and evolution of the legislation to punish corruption in the revolutionary base areas.At the judicial level,the governments of the revolutionary bases cooperated with the legislation on corruption punishment through judicial punishment in order to achieve the purpose of anti-corruption and corruption promotion.The typical cases of corruption punishment in the revolutionary base areas in the three periods are used to highlight the characteristics of the legal system of corruption punishment in the revolutionary base areas in judicial trials."The legal system for punishing corruption in the revolutionary base areas was the first attempt of the Chinese Communist Party and had distinctive characteristics of the times,although the system was not perfect and there were still many shortcomings.However,it made great contributions to the construction of the legal system at that time,laying the foundation for the exploration of the legal system for the punishment of corruption in New China,and also providing valuable experience for the construction of the legal system for the punishment of corruption in socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era.
