| With the flourishing of music education in our society, instrumental learning has become an important part of music learning and one of the main contents and ways for children to learn music outside of class.Parents,as participants in children’s instrumental music learning, have an inevitable impact on children’s music development and personal development, and research on this has become a frontier issue in music education research. In this paper,we investigate the current situation of parental involvement in children’s piano learning through a questionnaire survey of parents and children learning piano in music training institutions in Xi’an and Lanzhou. The specific involvement styles include "co-learning","accompanying","blind involvement","passive involvement",and "excessive assistances".Further,it was analyzed that parental involvement has a great influence on children’s piano learning, and that "co-learning" and "accompanying" involvement styles helps to promote children’s piano learning and development, while "blind involvement","passive involvement" and "excessive assistance" styles of parental involvement hinder children’s piano learning and development to a certain extent. In view of the current problems and shortcomings of parental involvement,we propose effective suggestions to promote children’s piano learning and hope to provide some reference for children’s piano learning research and promote the development of children’s piano learning in social music education. |
