Blind piano-playing children have both advantages and disadvantages during their instrumental learning, Disadvantage is that they can not directly practicing with the musical notation; they have to spend more time than the average piano-playing children in learning a new song. While the advantage is that blind piano-playing children make hearing as the dominant factor when they learning instrumental music, which is the most essential way of the study of music perception.Blind piano-playing children make hearing as the dominant factor when they learning instrumental music, which is the most essential way of the study of music perception; blind piano-playing children practicing without the interference of vision, devoted themselves into the music itself, they make perfect the accuracy of the playing span with the method of interpretation practice; the practice environment are consistent with the environment on the stage, therefore they are not subject to stress and other psychological factors, they can perfectly express music sound. While above factors are lacked among normal piano-playing children during their performance. The author selected 4 highly representative blind piano-playing children from dozens of blind piano-playing children of the country, interviewed blind piano-playing children themselves, their parents and teachers by tracking the interviews, telephone interviews, internet contacting, etc. from their skill acquisition and performance aspects the author summarized some better ways of learning which is more effective than the normal piano-playing child, in the hope of some inspiration and updating of ideas on the practicing and performance of normal piano-playing children.
