Analysis Of The Music Composition And Singing Of The Art Song "Seven Steps

The Seven Step Poems "is a poem written by Cao Zhi,a scholar of Wei during the Three Kingdoms period.It is a five character six sentence poem,using the same roots of the fern and the bean as a metaphor for suffering the harm of his brother Cao Pi(187-226).Its language is simple and its meaning is profound,and it has been a masterpiece for thousands of years to avoid brotherhood and self destruction.The song "Seven Step Poems" is selected from "New School Song" and is one of Gu Jianfen’s vocal works created for teenagers from 2004 to 2017.Like the other 49 songs,it combines moral and aesthetic education and is a good work to enhance the quality education of young people.In terms of music creation,the melody of’Seven Step Poem’ is beautiful and easy to learn and sing;It can not only appreciate the artistic conception and rhyme beauty of ancient poetry,but also enhance the patriotism of young people and enhance cultural confidence.This article combines my singing practice to analyze the literary and poetic qualities of "Seven Step Poems" on the one hand;On the other hand,Starting from music creation and singing,this article analyzes the music creation characteristics and singing techniques of "Seven Step Poems",hoping to explore the artistic charm and unique personality characteristics of ancient Chinese poetry and artistic songs.
