| Sergei Prokofiev was a world-renowned Russian composer of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries,and a leading figure of the "neo-classical" period.He was a leading figure of the "neo-classical" period,combining the rigor and delicacy of classicalism with the harmonic system of the twentieth century,without losing the traditional style of his time and at the same time introducing new ones,resulting in a highly original musical style.Prokofiev’s compositional output was extremely broad,including symphonies,stage productions,concertos,sonatas,and even film scores,and his compositional activity spanned half a century.The only work in the genre of piano miniatures in Prokofiev’s compositional career,"Instant Phantom" Op.22,published in 1915-1917,contains twenty pieces in different yet dramatic styles,bringing together the characteristics of Prokofiev’s early piano compositions.The first chapter provides an overview of Prokofiev’s biography,main compositions,and historical background;the second chapter illustrates the main harmonic changes and modalities of the work,and analyzes its original musical expression and rich compositional techniques;the third chapter analyzes the teaching of the work in the light of one’s own piano practice history and performance experience.In the third chapter,we explore the difficulties of teaching this work,the problems and challenges for piano learners,summarize the meaning of teaching this work,and condense the essence of Prokofiev’s technique,so as to provide some reference basis for music lovers who want to understand and learn Prokofiev’s piano works. |
