Research On Foucault's Biopolitical Theor

Michel Foucault is a famous philosopher and social thinker in the development of contemporary French thought.The study of life politics is an important topic of Foucault’s philosophical thought.Foucault gradually discovered the problems of biopolitics and bio-power in his study of disciplinary power.Biopolitics is a transformation of power mode and represents a brand new political governance mode.It replaces the traditional political governance mode with population governance by training the diverse life into an individual with a unified paradigm.As a brand new power technology;the key of biopolitics lies in the application of bio-power.Therefore,bio-power is divided into two forms,one is "anatomy politics of the body" and the other is "biopolitics of the population".Through in-depth analysis of the latter,Foucault deeply revealed the ugly side of capitalism.Foucault’s theory of biopolitics had a great influence on the western left wing,and the left-wing theorists mainly represented by Giorgio Agamben,Hart and Negri all expanded the theoretical study of biopolitics under his influence,which set off a wave of contemporary western left wing’s extensive research on biopolitics.Nowadays,more scholars pay attention to the biopolitics.The question of "biopolitics",that is,how the capitalist society exploits and oppresses people,has become the starting capitalism.
