| Happiness is an ancient ethical proposition that has been discussed in almost every recorded civilization. In general, what can be called happiness in all cultures is the perfection of virtue, the mastery of true knowledge, and the development of man.Marx’s philosophical thought is the sublation of old Western philosophy. He rejected the thinking of speculative logic and metaphysics in Western philosophy.Taking historical materialism as the theoretical basis,he paid attention to the universal happiness of real living people and understood happiness. For the free development of man and the full presentation of his essence. Its specific method is to criticize the modern capital logic with alienation theory, and point out that communism is the way to realize a happy life.At the same time,we must also see that morality is an indispensable dimension to build a happy and good life.Chinese traditional culture is also a typical ethical culture. Therefore,it is worth thinking about how to combine the ethical and moral concepts in Chinese traditional culture with Marx’s concept of happiness.Since Marx’s concept of happiness is constructed on the basis of his historical materialism,it implies that Marx believes that there is a historical limit to happiness in its connotation and expression.Different eras have happiness corresponding to this era,and naturally there are also misfortunes that show the distinctive characteristics of the era.It should also be noted that if happiness is defined as the free development of man and the full manifestation of his essence, then the common sense concept of happiness in a particular historical context does not necessarily correspond to the true meaning of happiness. This is because happiness itself has pleasant qualities, but happiness itself is not happiness. It is a one-sided view of happiness to only regard happiness as happiness or to regard happiness as the only good. This paper focuses on three one-sided views of happiness that occur in today’s era,and uses the concept of alienation to describe them as consumption alienation, leisure alienation, and interpersonal alienation. The sublation of the above three kinds of alienation is an urgent requirement to realize the ideal of happiness in real life,so the third part of this paper focuses on how to sublate consumption alienation, leisure alienation and interpersonal alienation. The concept of "good life" is the inheritance of Marx’s concept of happiness in the new era, which requires us to take Marx’s concept of happiness as the value guidance and practical guidance, pay attention to every person in real life, and practice the people-centered concept of governance.,to achieve a better life in which everyone can develop freely and consciously in an all-round way. |
