People’s livelihood issues have always been a topic of high attention and communication.People’s livelihood documentaries are based on people’s lives.As an art form focusing on "people",documentaries focus on the development of "people",excavate various contradictions existing in the real society,as well as the changes and impacts of people’s lives under the social background,thus attracting wide attention from all walks of life.It plays an important role in the domestic documentary industry.Documentary as a kind of audio-visual art,in the development of Chinese documentary creation practice,story-narrated gradually become a mainstream mode of creation,in the creation method,aesthetic characteristics and cultural concept has its unique charm.The combination of people’s livelihood themes and story-based narration forms a film and television form with unique power,which tells the stories of representative characters while recording objective and real footage.Through personal practice,combined with relevant theories and theories,the author created the work Warm Winter by using storytelling narration method.This paper sorted out the development,characteristics,cultural concepts and ethics of storytelling narration of documentary on people’s livelihood,and discussed storytelling narration of documentary on people’s livelihood by summarizing and reflecting on the creation experience of personal works.The article is divided into five parts:The first part: introduction,mainly describes the research background and development significance of the topic of this article,combs the research status at home and abroad,studies the concept of storytelling narrative and the definition of the people’s livelihood story,and puts forward the research methods and strategies of this paper.The second part: the recording technique and creation mode of the story narration of the documentary on people’s livelihood.This paper expounds the application and creation mode of storytelling technique.Review the past attempts and researches in documentary storytelling practice.The third part: the cultural concept and moral ethics of the story narration of the documentary on people’s livelihood.This paper discusses the cultural concept from the ornamental value of storytelling narration and the popularization of the theme of documentary expression,and expounds the existing problems in the shooting and recording of the documentary on people’s livelihood from two aspects: the relationship between the filmmaker and the subject and the reasonable expression of the narrative on people’s livelihood.The fourth part: the design interpretation of personal work "Warm Winter".From the lens picture,narrative space,sound shaping,editing rhythm and other aspects of analysis.The fifth part: summary and reflection of personal work "Warm Winter".Summarize the difficulties encountered in the shooting process and improvement methods,reflect on the shortcomings in the creation before,during and after,and put forward opinions on the communication significance of the people’s livelihood documentary.
