Strategies On Making Documentary Films For Livelihood

The Chinese documentary has entered the golden age,and the documentary of the people’s livelihood needs to seize the opportunity and seek a breakthrough.In this article,I summarizes the creative achievements of the documentary,and strives to demonstrate the relationship between documentary and artistic in the documentary,and further explores how to achieve organic unity in the creation of documentary films on people’s livelihood.The documentaries for the livelihood are easy to make feature films and news films,lacking artistic appeal and impact.This documentary film faces the above difficulties during the creation process and has the typicality of research.This paper points out the problems encountered in the specific operation process,and seeks breakthroughs through the efforts of “ effectively excavating artistic expression on the basis of sufficient documentary”,and ultimately benefits from it.With the analysis and research on the case,it is concluded that making the documentary needs to actively pursue the internal integrity between documentary and artistry.It can strengthen the documentary with the in-depth interviews,the capture of details,and the full inclusion of environmental sounds which give the documentary a big original power.In order to resonate and stimulate thinking more effectively,it is necessary to fully mobilize the montage to construct a storytelling narrative mode,describe the livelihood clearly with the rich and colorful context,depict the characters clearly and distinctly with the artistic methods such as using the sound rendering and reveal the nature of the event.The superposition of these artistic elements and the use of the artistic techniques make the artistic expression of the documentary for the livelihood,at the same time the combination between documentary and artistry makes the documentary much richer and the social benefits will be much bigger.
