| With the acceleration of economic globalization,international Chinese education has entered a stage of high-quality development,which also puts forward higher requirements for Chinese language education for special purposes.As a subject of Chinese for special purposes,legal Chinese constitutes a tool and window for international students to adapt to China and understand China.However,at present,there are few law courses for non-law students,and the teaching materials are systematic and insufficiently targeted,mostly for international law students,and there are few systematic teaching materials specifically for non-law students.Based on this,this paper takes legal Chinese textbooks as the research object and focuses on the preparation of textbooks for non-law students coming to China,in order to provide new channels for international students to fully understand China and contribute to the development of legal Chinese textbooks.This paper compares and analyzes the four existing legal Chinese textbooks,and summarizes the advantages of the textbooks,mainly including three aspects:focusing on case teaching,attaching importance to cultural infiltration,and complete body structure.However,there are still some limitations,mainly focusing on seven aspects:language project setting,topic selection,legal scene simulation,fluency of the connection between general Chinese and legal Chinese,design and typesetting,repetition of stylistic structure,and accuracy of legal terminology.Based on combing the relevant literature and combining the characteristics of the discipline,this paper locates and qualitatively identifies legal Chinese textbooks,takes the basic situation of future Chinese students,the demand for legal Chinese,and the demand for legal Chinese textbooks as its core elements and evaluation indicators,and combines quantitative data analysis and qualitative theoretical interpretation to construct a questionnaire design and interview outline for the demand for legal Chinese textbooks for international students in China.Based on questionnaire survey and data analysis,the current situation of the demand for legal Chinese textbooks by international students in China was summarized:(1)In terms of cognition of language elements,pay attention to the ratio and difficulty of professional vocabulary to general vocabulary.(2)In terms of practice,it tends to practice case analysis and legal scene simulation.(3)In terms of the topic and form of the text,they tend to choose case-based texts that are highly related to their lives.(4)In terms of curriculum structure,we will demonstrate a variety of practice through the establishment of law classroom activities.Based on the quantitative analysis of questionnaire survey data and the qualitative analysis of in-depth interview texts,this paper determines the basis and criteria for selecting the language elements of the textbook,as well as the style and topic content of the textbook according to the needs of the target group and the principles of the preparation of legal Chinese textbooks.On this basis,suggestions for the preparation of legal Chinese textbooks are put forward:(1)clarify the positioning of textbooks and find the correct tone for writing.(2)Cross-border,inter-professional,teamwork writing.(3)Accurately grasp the target group and take the demand as the practical orientation.(4)Innovate the structure of teaching materials and exert new effectiveness in classroom activities.(5)Create multi-modal intelligent resources and give full play to the new advantages of electronic resources.(6)Combine legal knowledge with national conditions,and pay attention to the expression of cultural content. |
