In recent years,with the further development of language for special purposes research,the research of Chinese for special purposes teaching has also begun to be carried out in China.Due to the large increase in the number of international students coming to China to receive academic education,the demand of foreign students for professional research and academic activities in Chinese is becoming increasingly prominent,both in terms of learning needs and from the requirements of professional training.It is of great significance for foreign students to receive academic education in China with a considerable level of academic Chinese ability.Therefore,it is necessary to strengthen the research on Chinese for academic purposes teaching However,something about Chinese for special proposes teaching and research,concept,category and so on.There are still different views in the domestic.The relevant research is in its infancy and still lack of targeted teaching Materials.There-fore,the need to carry out related research is very urgent.Taking Advanced Chinese course as an example,this paper takes demand as the guide,and through the investigation of the present situation of the use of academic Chinese textbook,finding out all kinds of problems existing in the relevant teaching materials.And further put forward some concrete suggestions for the compilation of Chinese for academic purposes teaching materials in the future.This paper first makes a preliminary investigation on the way of compiling the Advanced Chinese course,the orientation of the teaching material,the method of using it and the way of writing,and then makes an analysis of the needs of the users of the textbook.Then,according to the needs of users,making a comparative analysis of the teaching materials,and then drawing the conclusion that the textbook is lack of pertinence and can not meet the needs of students for academic Chinese.Finally,giving some suggestions on the adaptation of this textbook from the macro and micro levels for the compilation of academic Chinese textbooks for Master of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages in the future.
