Musical,as an imported art,was born in western countries.After more than a century of development,some countries such as Britain and America have formed a more distinctive musical aesthetic style with their own characteristics.However,since the musical entered China in the 1980 s,it seems that Chinese original musicals have not yet formed a unique style.For this reason,several generations of Chinese musicals have embarked on an arduous path of exploration,copying Western classics blindly from the beginning,Later,"localization" was carried out in combination with local opera,national opera and other traditional arts "The attempts have laid a solid theoretical and practical foundation for the formation of the aesthetic style of Chinese musicals.China is a multi-ethnic country with 56 ethnic groups,each with its own unique cultural and artistic system.With such rich ethnic cultural deposits,we should focus on how to interpret ethnic stories from the perspective of musicals,showcase ethnic styles,and explore more possibilities for the future development of Chinese original musicals.This research topic mainly uses literature analysis and case analysis methods.Firstly,it briefly summarizes the current situation of the application of ethnic elements in Chinese original musical works,and then focuses on the application of ethnic elements in the degree work "Chuan Ge Ren",summarizing its creative characteristics,in order to achieve the effect of small works reflecting large topics.
