On The Personality Characteristics And Singing Skills Of Lady Macbeth In Verdi’s Opera "Macbeth"

During Verdi’s long career in opera creation,Shakespeare’s works are very outstanding,especially the opera “Macbeth”,which is known as the darkest of the four tragedies.The aria in "Macbeth" is extremely difficult,and it has high requirements for the singer’s voice and performance tension.The complex character of the characters in the play and the gorgeous notes written by Verdi show the distortion and ugliness of human nature vividly.In particular,Lady Macbeth’s "curtain call" aria "Una macchia" has greatly reversed the image of Lady Macbeth’s role,making the audience amazed.This article will deeply unscramble the personality characteristics and singing skills of Lady Macbeth through the analysis of the musical form and rhythm characteristics,the content of the lyrics and the character characteristics of "Una macchia" and the singing analysis.At the same time,according to my own study experiences and stage practice experiences,I will put forward more understanding and thinking about this aria and the personality of Lady Macbeth from the perspective of a singer.
