In the 20 th century,composers pursued the development and innovation of composing techniques,and German composer Karlheinz Stockhausen was one of them.As a representative of the avant-garde,he devoted his life to exploring and pursuing the innovation and development of music.His works and ideas have had a great influence on the music creation of the 20 th century,and his position in the field of electronic music is unrivaled.Since the 1950 s,Stockhausen has composed 376 pieces of music in various genres(including different versions of the same piece),of which electronic music is the most famous.Stockhausen’s creative ideas are not only limited to the field of music,but also involved in linguistics,acoustics,philosophy,informatics and other disciplines,and applied these theoretical knowledge to the practice of music creation,trying to explore novel music works.The "Gesang der junglinge" is one of Stockhausen’s influential representative works,which has a landmark status in the history of electronic music.In terms of the background of that time,Electronic music was divided into two major systems,namely Germany’s electronic music and France’s Musique concrete,and this work integrated the two systems of electronic music.Most importantly,it combines holistic sequentialism with electronic music,and linguistics and acoustics with sequentialism.It expanded the creation way of sequentialism,broke through the traditional expression method of sequentialism music,and had a profound influence on the subsequent development of electronic music and sequentialism.In this paper,Stockhausen’s electronic music work "Gesang der junglinge" as the research object,from the work structure,sound material,the sequence of the work and the use of sequence and other aspects of analysis and research. |
