Translation Practice Report Of "Psychological Training For Combat Operations

Fight and win are the most important requirements for a strong army.Army building and preparations must be conducted on the basis of the criteria imposed by the requirements of real warfare.This is the only way to ensure the army’s ability to "ready when called upon,able to fight and victorious in battle".In addition to mastering modern weapon and equipment systems,modern soldiers are also required to have good combat psychological qualities.Therefore,completing good combat psychological training is an important aspect of ensuring that you can win.This practical report on translation describes the process of translating the full text of the teaching reference book "Psychological Training for Combat Operations" and the theoretical guidance on which it is based,the methods used,etc.The reference book was published in 2016,and approved by the Russia Educational-Methodological Association of Higher Military Educational Institutions.This book is used as a textbook by the cadets and students of humanitarian and social sciences major in the field of military management of the Armed Forces in Russia Military University.This reference book is not only suitable for cadets,students,adjuncts,and instructors in military school,but also for specialists of psychological who worked in the military units and formations.It may also be useful to commanders of military units.The book includes 6 chapters and 18 sections,with a total of over 39,000 words in Russian.This report uses L.S.Barkhudarov’s equivalent translation thought as a guiding theory.The report examines and investigates the problem of translation of scientific texts at the lexical and syntactic levels of Russian and Chinese.The translation report consists of 7 parts: The introduction introduces the reasons and practical relevance of this translation practice.The first chapter mainly outlines the main content of the study guide.The second chapter describes the translation process,including the preparation for translation,the translation process,and the related work after translation.The third chapter analyses the stylistic and linguistic features of this teaching reference book.The fourth chapter presents the main points of view of the theory of equivalent translation put forward by L.S.Barkhudarov.The fifth chapter introduces the application of the theory of equivalent translation in this practice from two aspects: morphological aspects and syntactic aspects.The conclusion summarises the results of this research work.
