On The Construction Of Ontology Of Contemporary Chinese Literature From The Works Of Yu Hua And Can Xu

Existentialism has exerted a profound influence on Chinese literary and art circles.Yu Hua and Can Xue are famous writers in contemporary Chinese literature.Their works embody existentialism in different contents and forms respectively,and they think about the value of existence,the right of free choice and individual existence.Yu Hua and Can Xue persist in exploring the "essence" of the existence of the real world,reveal the absurdity of individual existence,and reflect their deep thinking of individual existence.Yu Hua’s literary creation is characterized by his strong depiction of violence,suffering and death,and his bleak depiction of human life to reveal his perception of life.Can Xue has the courage to describe the cruel reality and feel the authenticity of existence with the courage to voluntarily go to hell,so that her characters can find their existence in nothingness and readers can feel the absurdity brought by the strong contrast between heaven and hell,light and darkness.Taking the works of Yu Hua and Can Xue as an example,although their works have distinct existentialism characteristics in the contemporary Chinese literary world,they cannot be called Chinese own existentialism literature.Taking some works of Yu Hua and Can Xue with existentialism as examples,this paper analyzes the construction of Chinese contemporary literary ontology,and then critically and creatively examines Chinese contemporary literary ontology.This paper is divided into five chapters:Chapter one is the understanding of Chinese contemporary literature ontology.From the four aspects of avantgarde literature under the influence of existentialism,Sartre’s existentialist view of literature,Sartre’s influence on Chinese contemporary literature,and the difference between western literary ontology and Chinese literary ontology,we can see that western literary ontology has a profound influence on Chinese contemporary literature creation.In view of the current problems,we need to reflect on the construction of literary ontology.The second chapter is the resources of Chinese contemporary literature ontology.From the four aspects of Yu Hua and Can Xue’s indifferent narration of individual survival dilemma,the absence of individual redemption,individual resistance to survival dilemma,and the realistic significance of individual existence,the construction of contemporary Chinese literature ontology reflected in their novels is discussed,so as to better search for the meaning of life existence.The third chapter is the existential meaning of "absurdity" in Yu Hua and Can Xue’s works.Through the "absurd world" written by Yu Hua and Can Xue,especially the exploration of "absurd","violence","death" and other themes,this paper reveals the absurdity of individual existence in Yu Hua and Can Xue’s novels and the spiritual rebellion behind the absurdity,so as to study the attention and thinking process of Yu Hua and Can Xue to individual existence.The fourth chapter is the limitations of Yu Hua’s and Can Xue’s works under the Chinese literary ontology.This chapter explores the limitations of Yu Hua and Can Xue’s existentialist literary creation from the perspective of western literary ontology and Chinese literary ontology,and reflects on the development limitations of Chinese contemporary literary ontology.It is concluded that Chinese writers should break through the western dualistic thinking to consider the existence of problems,and emphasize the question of why Chinese individuals exist.Chapter five is the innovation problems of Chinese contemporary literature ontology.This chapter tries to find the way to construct Chinese contemporary literary ontology by studying the nonsupremacy of Chinese individual existence,individual consciousness and group consciousness,the relationship between literature and existentialism,and the construction of Chinese contemporary literary ontology.
