The Exploration Of Oil Painting Scraper Technique And Its Application In Creation

In the process of oil painting development,artists constantly explore and practice to find their own unique form of artistic language expression,while the use of techniques is the support and reliance of artistic language expression.Through research,in the period of traditional classical painting,the use of the scraper was only used as an auxiliary tool,mostly for scraping and shoveling paint.In the modern painting period,with the continuous innovation of artistic expression,more painters began to consciously use the oil scraper as an independent painting tool to directly express objective things,which not only can better convey the artist’s thoughts and feelings,but also has a unique aesthetic interest.Therefore,the study of squeegee technique enriches the expression language of oil painting and has important practical significance.In this paper,the author will take the expression technique of oil painting scraper as the entry point and analyze and summarize the language characteristics produced by the scraper technique.Through the study of some artists who use the scraper and their works,the value and significance of the scraper technique for enriching the language of painting will be further explored in the form of case studies.Combined with the above research,the author elaborates the use of oil painting scraper technique in practical creation,focusing on three aspects of texture,color and contingency to express the unique language expression of the scraper technique,which enriches the interest of the picture and has its own aesthetic pursuit.
