The Exploration Into The Art Language

This paper mainly discusses the importance of the expressive forms of oil paintings. With landscape oil paintings as the main research object, this paper analyzes how the author tries to find the true feelings in face of these paintings and verifies the feelings with personal painting experience. Through the painting creation, the author’s exploration and attempt of the expressive forms of oil paintings is presented, paving the way for the goal of exhibiting a unique personal style in oil paintings.This study is divided into five chapters:firstly, it elaborates the creation motivation and feasible range and introspects the author’s own views about oil painting language based on landscape oil paintings; then, the idea and evolution of this creation as well as the interpretation of nature are given in the ideological and theoretical foundation of this creation, and another exploration of nature is proposed; subsequently, the paper discusses how to convert the empirical and theoretical foundations of masters’ paintings in the Western art history into one’s own creation way after having an understanding of them; the experience and interpretation of this creative practice are also presented, which cover the elements in creation and the separate elaboration of each painting. Availing of this creative practice experience, the author’s exploration and attempt for the expressive forms of paintings are provided so that the appropriate expressive form can be located and the diversity of the creation of oil paintings is exhibited.
