Analysis Of The Characteristic Of Mezzo-Soprano Singing Ancient Poetry Art Songs

Chinese ancient poetry art song is a vocal music genre with profound historical and cultural background.The content of the lyrics is ancient poetry,mostly to describe the scenery and express the thoughts and feelings of the characters.The vocal range of the song is mostly in the middle area,with moderate volume,which is very suitable for mezzo-soprano singing.In addition,its musical style has a strong national flavor,and the tone color of mezzo-soprano can fully show the beauty of the rhythm of classical poetry.This paper is divided into three parts.The first part is a brief introduction of mezzo-soprano part and ancient poetry art songs,which elaborates the sound characteristics of mezzo-soprano part,the formation of mezzo-soprano part,the development of mezzo-soprano in China,and the genre division and development of ancient poetry art songs.The second part analyzes the three ancient Chinese poetry and art songs "Yang guan Triple","Hong Dou Ci" and "Chun Xiao" as examples.Firstly,it introduces the background of the creation of the songs and analyzes the lyrics and songs of the songs.Then,it analyzes the singing of the songs combined with the voice characteristics of mezzo-soprano.Finally,the third part positively affirms the value of the application of ancient poetry and art songs in the training of mezzo-soprano singing.
