In the field of international Chinese education,it attaches great importance to the role of teachers’ body language.As one of the important components of body language,teachers are also paid much attention to by researchers.In the postepidemic era and under the background of normal online teaching in international Chinese education,the role of teachers’ attention in live classes needs to be studied.In this study,the teaching experiment was designed to select 97 foreign students from three parallel classes with similar Chinese level for live idiom teaching.Three different teachers ’eye contact were used to investigate the influence of teachers’ eyes on the teaching effect.It is found that the teachers’ eye contact affect the transfer test of Chinese learners.Compared with the teachers’ whole use of avoidance eyes,the alternating conditions of teachers’ direct eye contact and avoidance eye contact bring higher transfer test results,but the type of teachers’ eye contact does not affect the retention test score and the total test results.This study investigates the views of Chinese learners and international Chinese teachers on teachers’ attention in international Chinese class.Through the analysis of149 student questionnaires and 47 teacher questionnaires,it was found that learners’ attitude towards teachers’ eye contact was influenced by gender,Chinese level and other factors,while teachers’ attitude towards the influence effect of teachers’ eye contact was significantly related to the use of teachers’ eye contact.Based on the above research results,this paper puts forward suggestions on teachers’ attention application in international Chinese live classes. |
