Jean-michel Basquiat is a representative artist of new modern art nouveau and graffiti art in the United States.At present,most art studies classify him into the category of Expressionism.However,it seems that the graffiti form of graffiti is his painting language and painting form,rather than Basquiat’s internal ideological content.In fact,his creation pays more attention to the expression of emotion.As to the particular faction to which he should now be placed,we will not discuss it here.What is more important is that Basquiat boldly expressed his true self,revealing the essence of his works of art together with the unique beauty of his essence.Through Basquiat’s artistic works and life experience,as well as his historical stage and cultural environment,the author intends to discuss the internal reasons for Basquiat’s artistic originality.Basquiat’s works of art are highly moving.The author believes that the characteristic of Basquiat’s works is the originality,which makes his works more likely to arouse the emotional resonance of the audience.In the contemporary art market,Basquiat’s art works are very dazzling.After entering the Asian auction market,the response is also very warm.Basquiat’s art works will attract more people’s attention.Street art is a hot spot in popular culture,and graffiti is a major part of it.In the childhood of human beings,scribbling is derived from the yearning for games.It does not need the technical support of traditional art,but the intuitive expression of self-experience again and again.Graffiti,as a widely understood way of painting,is more acceptable to people.This is also one of the reasons for this study,which is pioneering.So far,the definition and status quo of graffiti art are scattered and lack of systematic sorting,and there is little research on Jean-Michel Basquiat.This paper tries to absorb and draw on relevant research results at home and abroad,and explore and propose specific implementation strategies based on the existing theoretical results.It provides new perspectives and new ideas for the development and prospect of street art in theory and practice,and puts forward enlightenment and reflection for the development of contemporary art creation in the future.
