A Study Of The Mass Historical View In "The Holy Family"

The Holy Family,or the criticism of criticism.The refutation of Bruno Powell and his companion("The Holy Family")is the first work jointly written by Marx and Engels.Its main content is to expose the drawbacks of his idealism through the criticism of a series of articles and views of the young Hegelian school in the "Literature Summary",and clearly demonstrate the basic view of the mass view of history Engels and lay the foundation for the systematic and scientific exposition of historical materialism.The mass viewpoint is an important viewpoint expounded by Marx and Engels in "The Holy Family".The revelation of the principle that the people are the true creators of human history in the book provides theoretical guidance for the proletarian revolution,attaching importance to the people’s power,improving the social system,and especially promoting the construction of China’s democratic system.At a time of great changes not seen in a century,in order to maintain and give full play to the fundamental interests of the people,we must understand,adhere to and implement the basic view of the people’s view of history.Based on this,this paper discusses the main viewpoints of the mass view of history in The Holy Family and its inheritance and development in China from four parts.First of all,this paper starts with the practice and theoretical basis of Marx and Engels’ social investigation to understand the writing background and theoretical source of The Holy Family.Secondly,from the text of "The Holy Family",the author deeply analyzes the strong recognition of the great historical role of the people that the two people have infiltrated in the process of transforming from idealism to materialism,from the liquidation of the young Hegelian speculative idealism to the demonstration of the great role of the people,and finally points out that the people are the force of social revolution,so we must face up to the people and rely on them.Again,on the basis of the text,it briefly discusses the establishment,improvement and development process of Marx’s and Engels’ mass view of history,and explores the different views of different leaders on the focus of the mass view of history in different periods of China’s revolution,construction,reform and the new era.From the unity and struggle of the oppressed class in the class struggle to the reform and opening up and respect for the pioneering spirit of the people,to the important thought of "Three Represents","people-oriented" and finally "people-centered",these theoretical achievements have always taken the happy life of the people as the main starting point and ending point.They both come down in one continuous line and keep pace with the times,and together constitute the rich connotation of the people’s view of history in the new era.Finally,according to the understanding of Marx,Engels and China at different stages of development on the concept of mass history,this paper analyzes and discusses the contemporary value of adhering to the concept of mass history in the new era.
