In the teaching of intermediate Chinese comprehensive course,students are in the stage of transition from primary to advanced,and how to consolidate and improve students’ language knowledge and skills,and cultivate students’ enthusiasm and initiative in learning is an important issue.The scaffold pedagogy is a teaching method under the constructivist theory,based on the recent development area,and emphasizes student-centeredness in the teaching process,with the help of teachers building scaffolds,guiding students to actively acquire new knowledge and cultivating students’ ability to explore independently and learn collaboratively.Based on the transformation of the traditional indoctrination-based intermediate Chinese comprehensive classroom teaching to the student-oriented classroom format,this paper intends to explore the online teaching design of the intermediate Chinese comprehensive course based on the scaffold teaching method.This paper takes the scaffold teaching method as the guide,takes the students of the 2020 undergraduate class of Henan University International Han College as the teaching object,and selects the sixth lesson Eating Grapes of the third volume of the Chinese Course(Revised Edition)for online teaching design,in order to provide reference for the research of the scaffold teaching method applied to the online teaching of intermediate comprehensive Chinese courses,the specific research content is as follows:The first chapter is an introductory part,which mainly explains the reason,significance,research status and research methods of the selected topic.The second chapter is the author’s review of the relevant theories of the scaffold pedagogy and the applicability of the scaffold pedagogy to the online teaching of intermediate comprehensive Chinese courses.Firstly,the author elaborates on the theoretical basis,types of scaffolds and bracket links of the scaffold teaching method,and then analyzes the appropriateness of the teaching objectives,principles and online teaching characteristics of the scaffold pedagogy and the intermediate Chinese comprehensive course.The third chapter is the author’s teaching design for the online teaching of the intermediate comprehensive Chinese course Eating Grapes based on the scaffold teaching method.Firstly,the teaching design was analyzed in the early stage,and the main contents included: teaching materials,teaching objects,teaching objectives,teaching content and major difficulties,lesson time arrangement,preset brackets and instructions.At the end of the lesson,the teaching process of Eating Grapes is explained.Chapter 4 is teaching evaluation and reflection.Based on the survey and interview of students and the evaluation of teachers,the author evaluates the scheme and teaching effect of this teaching design,makes teaching reflections,explores the shortcomings of this paper,and finally makes suggestions for the shortcomings.
