This paper takes the Qiangfan drum dance of Weiyuan,Gansu Province,as its research object,and uses literature research,field research,and the extraction of typical dance categories from dance ecology.The focus of this research is to discuss the embodiment of multicultural integration in the Qiangfan drum dance,analyze the reasons for the formation of the pattern of multicultural integration,and explore the value of multicultural integration in casting a firm sense of Chinese national community.The study finds that the multicultural integration of the Weiyuan Qiangfan drum dance was formed under the historical conditions of exchange and interactions among various ethnic groups,and based on this,through the development and integration of various ethnic groups,a social pattern of multiple coexistence was formed.First,from the perspective of interpretive anthropology,the multicultural integration of Qiangfan drumming is reflected in three aspects: witchcraft,agricultural civilization,and ancient social concepts in the primitive period;second,the multicultural integration of Qiangfan drumming is formed under the comprehensive influence of historical and cultural,spatial environment,and psychological factors of the practice subjects;finally,in the context of casting a firm sense of Chinese national community,Qiangfan drumming is useful for promoting Finally,in the context of forging a sense of Chinese community,the Qiangfan drum dance plays an important role in promoting national unity,enhancing national emotions,and deepening the idea of national community.This paper argues that the Weiyuan region has a unified sense of national and cultural identity,which establishes the foundation of the Chinese nation as "one",and that the Qiangfan drum dance attaches importance to the cultural diversity and independence of each ethnic group in its inheritance,fully respects individual cultural differences,and promotes "pluralism" on the basis of "one".The Qiangfan drum dance,in its transmission,emphasizes the cultural diversity and independence of each ethnic group,and fully respects individual cultural differences,so that the "pluralism" on the basis of the "one" is more energetic,thus forming a pattern of multicultural integration with each ethnic group’s culture.
