Redesign Application Of Light And Shadow In Lacquer Products

As a traditional craft originating from China,lacquer with a history of more than 8,000 years has become an important symbol of national and cultural identity for all Chinese.With the development of the times,China has entered the Industrialization Era.The impact of Western science and civilization has changed people’s needs and aesthetic demands,making the inheritance and development of lacquer craft difficult.At present,the state has increasingly cemented the protection of intangible cultural heritage,which has improved the situation of lacquer craft to a certain extent.The unique spiritual and cultural value of lacquer craft itself has been brought back to the spotlight,integrating into modern life as an important cultural element.However,at the present stage,the protection and preservation of lacquer craft focus still on the form of traditional lacquerware,as a niche culture detached from daily life.Therefore,to create new forms of lacquer craft,innovatively protect,and inherit lacquer art,we can integrate the traditional lacquer craft with modern products.It can not only facilitate the exploration of the diversity of modern industrial products,but also can bring more possibilities for the development of lacquer craft.Light in lacquer craft can show the material beauty of the craft and deepen the cultural connotation of lacquer craft to a certain extent.The accompanying shadow can also play a role in rendering the atmosphere.Therefore,the focus of this paper is the redesign application of light and shadow in lacquer products.Firstly,through literature review and data collection,this paper briefly analyzes the current situation of lacquer craft,explain the significance and measures of this research,and explore the light and shadow in traditional lacquer craft.Secondly,we conduct thorough research and analysis on the application of light and shadow in modern works and the functional scales of lacquer products on the market today.By cross-analyzing those light-and shadow-related works,this paper tries to find the joint of light-shadow and lacquer products.Then,through interpreting the works of self-luminous lacquer art created by artists and designers,this paper discusses the possibility of redesigning "light and shadow + lacquer" from three aspects: the redesign of light and shadow in the form of lacquer products,the redesign of the functional scale of light and shadow in lacquer products,and the creation of aesthetics and ambiance of lacquer products in light and shadow.Finally,based on the lacquer painting techniques and decorative techniques,the paper focuses on redesigning "light and shadow +lacquer" by interpreting the design intention,positioning the product design,applicable people,and using scenarios.It adopts the lamp form of lacquer art,and the creation process mainly includes design ideas,sketch design,production process,and final display.Through an innovative study on the application of light and shadow in the redesign of lacquer products,this paper hopes to shed light on the inheritance and development of lacquer craft in the future and to broaden the scope of application of lacquer craft in more fields so that it can become more popular and integrate into people’s lives.
