As the authoritative award of commercial animation,the best animated feature film of Oscar has high research value.This paper selects 50 animated films with love as the research object from 53 excellent animated films that won awards and were nominated as the best animated feature film of Oscar during 2010-2020,To study the reasons for his commercial success in the theme of love and the inspiration for China’s future creation of animation films with the theme of love.This paper makes a horizontal comparison between China and the Oscar winning works of the best animated feature film in the past decade,and finds out the specific differences in the expression of love from the historical and cultural background of China and the West,the audio-visual language of animation,and the audience’s film watching psychology.It also finds the root of the differences and discusses the ways in which Chinese and Western love emotions can be understood and communicated in animation.The article consists of six chapters.The first chapter is an overview of the research significance,purpose and research status at home and abroad related to the topic selection,mainly introducing the reasons for dating the research time from 2010 to 2020 and the reasons for choosing the best animated feature film of Oscar;The second chapter is a detailed discussion of the historical and cultural background of China and the United States,analyzing the reasons for the different expressions of love between China and the United States and the changes caused by the influence of the times;The third chapter analyzes the audio-visual language characteristics of the Chinese animation with love as the theme and the Oscar winning and nominated works;The fourth chapter analyzes the viewing mechanism of western audience and Chinese audience;The fifth chapter discusses the problems and reasons analyzed above,and mainly summarizes the following points: 1.China’s animation works with the theme of love can follow the traditional Chinese art forms and traditional sound elements,and flexibly combine the previous plane sense of decoration with the current popular three-dimensional style.2.In terms of camera language,the popular American commercial animation camera language is used for reference,but the narrative style of Chinese camera language is still maintained.3.The core of love is still Chinese,but it can be less implicit in the form of expression.4.Grasp the innovation points that Chinese audiences expect and accept,and grasp the degree.The innovation of this paper lies in the analysis of the emotional expression of love in the award-winning and nominated works of the Oscar best animated feature film with love as the theme,and the Chinese animated film works,and the interpretation of the emotional expression of love in combination with different national cultures,the analysis of the manifestations of love at home and abroad and the viewing psychology of Chinese and foreign audiences.Through multi-dimensional comparison,the creation methods and communication modes of foreign excellent animation with love as the theme are absorbed to better tell Chinese stories. |
