Research On The Emotion Expression Of The Roles In Oscar-Winning Best Animated Feature Films

As an emerging industry in the modern and contemporary age,television animation has won the affection among the mass audience by the freedom and openness in its creation and expression,which brings it popularity and creates huge commercial value.Behind the huge commercial value and influences is the meticulous display of the production team in appearance modelling and emotion expression of animated characters,the display of image building from zero to one while in the birth of a vivid character,it is the emotion expression that plays an crucial role.In the study of this paper,the author first defines the emotional expression of role as follows: "Expression of emotion in facial expressions","expression of emotion in body movements" and "expression of emotion in voice and language".To summarize the characteristics of the emotional expression of characters in the best animated feature film from a historical perspective,it is found that the emotional expression mode of facial expression performance has the characteristics of anthropomorphism and symbolization,the emotional expression mode of body action performance has the characteristics of personalization and absurdity,and the emotional expression mode of voice language performance has the characteristics of diversification and life.Second,the paper makes a contrastive study of the three ways in which characters express themselves,analyzes and summarizes the role of the three emotional expressions of the characters and the influence of the three emotional expressions of the characters on the viewers' perception,and makes a case study with the best animated feature film of Oscar.The author elaborated the inner activities of the characters portrayed by facial expressions,the personality charm of the characters revealed by body movements,and the self-image of the characters enriched by voice and language performances.As for the influence of the emotional expression of the role on the perception of the audience,the author elaborated that the facial expression performance enables the audience to walk into the role,the body action performance enables the audience to be in the scene,and the voice language performance enables the audience to be full of imagination.In addition,from the perspective of artistic creation,market demand and cultural background,the author analyzes the trend of emotional expression of characters in the best animated feature films of Oscar,the main opinions include: the development of animation technology and art,commercial factors of film and television animation,and the root culture and mass culture of the production area.At last,according to the development trend of emotional expression of characters in the best animated feature film of Oscar,the author aims to develop domestic film and television animation.First,to elaborate the design idea and method of character emotion expression from the angle of deepening character shaping,including the detailed design of facial expression performance,the localization design of body movement performance and the characteristic design of voice language performance.Second,from the angle of public aesthetic tendency,the design thought and method of character emotion expression are expounded,including the straightforward design of facial expression performance,the entertainment design of body movement performance and the popular design of voice and language performance.It is hoped that the research of this paper will provide the creative thought and method of the character emotion expression in the film and television animation performance of the Chinese animator,and make contributes to the promotion of the artistic creation level and the commercial development of the domestic animation.
