Portrait painting emerged as an art form in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties.The key to the emergence of Zeng Jing’s portrait painting lies in its unique facial rendering style.This rendering style mainly benefits from Zeng Jing’s continuously refined rendering techniques.This article focuses on the rendering of the face in Zeng Jing’s portrait,dividing the face into five senses,forehead,cheeks,and jaw.It also studies Zeng Jing’s use of color,rendering methods,and the relationship between color lines by age,summarizes Zeng Jing’s technical characteristics,and the ideological changes contained therein.It also summarizes Zeng Jing’s painting practice,and summarizes the enlightenment and impact of Zeng Jing’s painting method on me.
