| Color, as the symbol of emotion and carrier of spirit, is an important form ofpainting language, and an important means to express feelings and ideas of the painter.The diversification of color expression is the requirement of era for the modernlacquer painting as well as a mark of becoming mature. However, as a young paintingform, so compared with the color language expression of other paintings, there arestill problems need to think about and improve with lacquer painting such as thelimitation of color language, ambiguity of used conception and contemporary color.Based on the collected data and investigation， and beginning with thebackground of the formation of lacquer painting color language, this paper makes thegreat influence of Chinese and western color language on the construction of modernlacquer painting color language clear, while lacquer painting color language has itsspecific character. The paper expounds that the quality of author group has directeffect on the organization and expression of color language in the lacquer paintingcreation, so the improvement of the lever of creative team is very important.
