| The surrender of generals in Tang Dynasty is an important group throughout the whole historical period of Tang Dynasty. No matter in the Founding War of the Tang Dynasty, the Rebellion of An and Shi,or the partition of Fanzhen in the middle and late Tang Dynasties, the surrender of generals played an important historical role.In addition to some positive constructive effects, the surrender of general also had destructive effects on the Tang Dynasty. Some surrender groups or individuals gradually became the centrifugal force of the Tang Dynasty under the relatively loose surrender policy. The research on the general surrender in the Tang Dynasty is closely related to the military wars of the Tang Dynasty, the relationship between the Tang Dynasty and ethnic minorities, and the related historical events of the Tang Dynasty from prosperity to decline. Therefore,in the relevant research of Tang Dynasty, the subjugation group can not be ignored.Aiming at this special group, this thesis analyzes its temporal and spatial distribution, sources, and related policies of the Tang Dynasty,so as to make a comprehensive induction and summary, and obtain the relevant characteristics and functions of the group. This thesis consists of three parts: introduction, text and conclusion. The introduction part mainly expounds the reason for the topic selection and research value of this thesis, and reviews the academic history. The key difficulties and innovation points of this thesis are also reflected in this part. The text is divided into four chapters. The first chapter firstly defines the concepts related to surrender and the historical stages adopted in this thesis, and divides the historical periods of the Tang Dynasty into the early Tang Dynasty, the middle Tang Dynasty and the late Tang Dynasty. The time rule of surrender is reflected in this chapter, and the sorting out of surrender groups is the main content of this chapter. The second chapter mainly reflects the origin of the surrender group, including the forces of the late Sui Dynasty, the minority ethnic groups and foreign generals, the surrender of General of An Shi and the surrender of general of the late Tang Dynasty. In addition to the overall grasp of the surrender general in this chapter, the individual deeds of surrender general can also be analyzed concretely. The third chapter mainly analyzes the Tang Dynasty to treat the surrender of the relevant policies. This chapter mainly discusses the reason of surrender, the reward and treatment given by Tang Dynasty after surrender, and the outcome of surrender.Generally speaking, the attitude of Tang Dynasty to surrender general was mainly relaxed, but the specific way was different in different periods. There was a gap between the strength period and the decline period of the Tang Dynasty in the tolerance of the surrender of generals. The fourth chapter highlights the historical effect of surrender on Tang dynasty, which can be divided into constructive and destructive. The relationship between Tang Dynasty and surrender is reflected in this chapter. The conclusion mainly expounds and summarizes the relevant arguments of this thesis, which is a summary of the full text. |
