Music And Performance Analysis Of Zhang Zhao’s Piano Work “Mei Niang Qu”

Originally written by Nie Er in 1935 for the drama “The song of rejuvenation”,“The melody of Mei Niang” was arranged by contemporary Chinese composer Zhang Zhao for piano solo in 2012.As an innovative adaptation of the classic works,“Mei Niang qu” itself has inestimable artistic value.Based on the artistic songs with the national spirit of the times,Zhang Zhao integrated the magnificent piano skills into the original musical materials and expressed his thoughts with themes,it has endowed the work with rich imagination and endless connotation.This thesis is divided into four parts: first,it expounds the general situation of the creation of“The melody of Mei Niang”,secondly,it deeply analyzes the music noumenon and performance techniques,and finally,it combines my stage practice experience,sum up the work of artistic value and learning significance.Among them,the author takes the narrative of the work as the breakthrough point,links the composing technique and the music image in the repertoire,analyzes its music and the performance characteristic,so that other piano players can be more delicate and complete to deal with the emotional expression of the track.
