Research On Spatial Writing In The Novels Of The Three Musketeers Of Tiexi District

In recent years,the appearance and outbreak of the “The Three Musketeers of Tiexi District” has become a landmark event in the development of the northeast literature,even in the current literary circle.“The Three Musketeers of Tiexi District” have obvious spatial consciousness.The authors express their own understanding of history,region and literature through the construction of aesthetic space and excavation of spatial connotation,forming a unique writing style and aesthetic characteristics.This paper analyzes the novels from the perspective of space,and discusses from four aspects: the representation of spatial writing,the types of main characters in space,the characters’ survival dilemma and breakthrough way,the narrative construction strategy of spatial writing.The novel space of “The Three Musketeers of Tiexi District” has strong regional color and geographical characteristics.The authors set up the spatial coordinates of “The northeast,Liaoning and Tiexi District” by their life experience.They selected highly representative natural images and spatial landscapes to retain the time and space specimens in the memory of the restructuring of state-owned enterprises and the wave of lay-off.There are mainly three kinds of marginal characters in the space.When the factory era passes away,the change of production relations shifts the focus of people’s life.Workers become a vulnerable group in the transformation of their identity from workers to pauper which interprets the “crime and punishment” in real life.The offspring also perpetuate their parents’ frustrations through intergenerational transmission,leaving traumatic marks.Along with the development of urbanization,the urban strangers who leave their hometown encounter the crisis of survival,or get trapped in the desire for money,or lose the sense of belonging,exposing the spiritual confusion.When characters suffer from complex survival dilemma,they take various actions to break out,in order to reshape spatial identity,or flee to seek ideal utopia,or turn inward to create spiritual space to resist external corrosion.The authors also use literature as the shield to establish a literary nostalgia space to resist the stereotype of northeast China in the public discourse space.In narrative construction,the authors take space as narrative focus and medium to establish characters’ relations,and use nested narrative structure and multi-voice narrative to broaden and deepen the expression space,which brings diversified and rich narrative charm.Relying on their own experience,“The Three Musketeers of Tiexi District”established a new spiritual connection with national history,excavated individuals buried in it.Their moral responsibility reveals the new possibilities in the development of post-80 s literature.The authors’ description of the northeast region continues the writing tradition of the northeast literature,which provides another way to view the northeast.More importantly,it shows the charm of the regional culture as nourishment for the novels,and also makes people see the hope of telling the northeast stories well in the literary field in the era of space transformation.
