In the course of social life, understanding the behavior of others and making appropriate responses are the basis of good social interaction. However, even in typical developing individuals, there are more or less difficulties in social communication and communication, poor verbal skills, introversion and other symptoms similar to the core symptoms of autism spectrum disorder(ASD)but not reaching the threshold of clinical diagnosis, namely autistic traits. The more autistic the trait is,the more likely the individual is to exhibit ASD-like behavior, and the less desirable the understanding of the target direction and intention of the action. In order to explore the mechanism of autistic traits affecting movement comprehension in college students, three experimental studies were designed. The Study 1,A total of 751 college students were tested with The Comprehensive Autistic Trait Inventory(CATI),from which 30 students with high autism trait and 30 with low autism trait were selected to complete the task of action recognition and intention recognition. The results showed that:(1)compared with autistic trait low group, high group action recognition, intention recognition reaction time was longer, lower accuracy;(2)Action recognition process and intention recognition process are two different cognitive processes. The Study 2,A total of 18 people in both the high and low groups with autistic traits were selected to complete a cognitively loaded working memory task before recognizing actions and intentions in the presented pictures by using the dual-task paradigm. The results showed that:(1)Compared with the low cognitive load condition, the correct rate of action and intention recognition in the two groups was significantly lower and the response time was longer.(2)The recognition accuracy of autism trait in high group was significantly lower than that in low group, and the response time was significantly longer than that in low group. The Study 3,Twenty-one people in the high group and 26 people in the low group were selected to complete the auditory cognitive load memory task, and then complete the action and intention recognition task, and collect their eye movement characteristics. The results showed that:(1)Compared with auditory cognitive load memory task, the correct rate of action and intention recognition after completing visual cognitive load memory task was significantly lower;(2)The group with high autism trait had narrower fixation range and less attention to social information than the group with low autism trait.
