In terms of ci studies, both Ye Jiaying and Wang Guowei have borrowed Western theories for literary criticism, and Ye Jiaying intends to inherit and develop Wang Guowei’s ci studies.Understanding and studying how Ye Jiaying interprets and inherits Wang Guowei’s ci studies is a topic of academic significance.Ye Jiaying interprets Wang Guowei’s realm theory based on her own Xing Fa Gan Dong Theory, which focuses on feelings. She systematically combs Wang Guowei’s "Human Ci Hua",inherits Wang Guowei’s concept of aesthetic characteristics of ci style, and has achieved great achievements in "speaking ci" in her literary criticism practice. However, starting from her own theory and using "feeling" as the foundation of the realm theory,Ye Jiaying goes against Wang Guowei’s original intention. The logical starting point of Ye Jiaying’s "Xingfa Moved Theory" is "feeling",while the logical starting point of Wang Guowei’s realm theory is "true scenery and true emotions".The two have different theoretical foundations in their ci studies. Therefore,Ye Jiaying’s development of Wang Guowei’s ci studies is not a consistent development, but rather a divergent development. The inspiration from studying Ye Jiaying’s inheritance and development of Wang Guowei’s poetry is that the modern development of traditional Chinese poetry and poetry is not suitable for systematic construction. At the same time,we should reflect on our own theory when inheriting the traditional poetics and ci poetry,so as to better interpret the traditional Chinese literary theory. This article consists of an introduction, three main chapters, and a conclusion. The introduction introduces the research ideas of this topic. The first chapter of the main text mainly sorts out Ye Jiaying’s ci thought, the second chapter studies and analyzes how Ye Jiaying interprets Wang Guowei, and the third chapter analyzes Ye Jiaying’s positive inheritance and divergent development towards Wang Guowei. The conclusion summarizes the viewpoints of this article and the research experience of this topic.
