The "post-70s" female writers’ rural creations mostly appeared collectively after the new century, attracting widespread attention from the literary field and opening up a new space of literary discourse for inter-generational female writers’ rural writing. They grew up in a rapidly transforming countryside, and witnessed the quick decline of the traditional rural areas during the huge social changes of the 1990s while experiencing a "landless era".This unique upbringing and the substantial changes in the vernacular have prevented them from having deep earthy feelings and profound rural experiences like the "post-50s" and "post-60s" female writers, not to mention the urge to write grand histories. The "post-70s" female writers, who are "suspended" between tradition and modernity, use the countryside as a symbol of traditional culture to complete their poetic construction in reminiscence and imagination. At the same time, they perceive the complex and drastic changes in the real countryside with their delicate and sensitive female experiences and record their native land in the minds of this generation of female writers with a different creative tendency and narrative style from their predecessors. This paper aims to analyze the different constructions of the countryside by the "post-70s" female writers and to explore their reminiscences of the poetic native land and their worries about the reality of the rural areas.Against the backdrop of rapid modernization, they chose to extract memories to construct an imaginary "utopia" of the countryside, expressing their yearning for the traditional virtues and the goodness of humanity. The countryside as an aesthetic ideal also demonstrates the value orientation of the "post-70s" female writers. They are compassionate and considerate of the individual who lives in rural areas, and they are able to transcend traditional ethics and morality by showing understanding and caring for their survival. The poetic style that runs through their creations highlights the inherent rhythm of the female writer’s reminiscence of the countryside, which is expressed in the narrative strategy of poetic language art and reminiscent narrative. At the same time,in the face of the growing disparity between urban and rural areas, the "post-70s" female writers,in response to the call of the times, reveal a distinct tendency towards realism in their writing, focusing on the physical and mental wanderings of the new-generation women who are trying to enter the cities. They take the analysis of their "cityward complex" as a starting point, presenting the plight of rural women and their spiritual disconnection in the double flow of entering the city and returning to the countryside. However, female writers also leave a glimmer of hope for them,by portraying their growth from the pursuit of "physical freedom" to the development of an independent personality,to explore the possibility of the women’s exodus and taking root in the city. With the acceleration of urban-rural integration, the country has undergone significant changes, and new "vernacular experiences" have made the countryside take on an unfamiliar appearance. The "post-70s" female writers chose to face the real rural areas with a sense of social responsibility. They noticed the gradual "hollowing out" of the villages, especially their internal collapse and loss. They used "non-fiction" to delve into the interior of the countryside and record its details. While presenting the complexities of rural China, female writers reflect on the relationship between female writing to the countryside and reality. To a certain extent, they also show their tendency and efforts to get involved in history and this age.
