The Bao Juan contains rich cultural content of filial piety.In the long-term process of inheritance and dissemination,Bao Juan plays an important role in people ’s belief and entertainment life.Bao Juan is a rap text sung according to a certain ritual.It is an important carrier of Buddhist secularization and a text of people ’s collective narrative.The activity of singing Bao Juan is called Xuan Juan.Xuan Juan is not only the presentation of the collective narrative of the people,but also the dynamic narrative process of Bao Juan’s filial piety narrative,which plays an important role in the construction of local filial piety culture.This paper discusses the role of Xuan Juan in the construction of local filial piety culture by taking the Xuan Juan activity in Y town of southwest Hubei as a case.The first chapter traces the process of the formation of the historical and cultural ecology of Y town,discusses the connotation and practical form of the concept of filial piety and the practice of filial piety of the local people,and points out that the concept of filial piety and the practice of filial piety in Y town are influenced by the concept of filial piety of Confucianism and Buddhism,which is the unique historical and cultural context of Y town.The second chapter discusses the number and text of the Bao Juan in Y town,and points out that the Bao Juan in Y town conveys the internal filial piety narrative content with the help of classical narrative texts such as Miaoshan legend,Mulian and 24 filial sons,and the filial piety narrative of the Bao Juan is presented with the help of the Xuan Juan activity.The third chapter analyzes that Daoists promotes the interactive communication process between different subjects through oral performance,symbolic and behavioral performance.Filial piety realizes the transmission between subjects through performance.At the same time,this chapter also reveals the formation of narrative space and the presentation of specific filial piety behavior.The fourth chapter discusses the narrative logic,behavior logic and ’ field ’logic of Xuan Juan in the construction of filial piety culture from the perspective of the logic embedded in local society and the deep motivation of constructing filial piety culture.It points out that Xuan Juan presents the filial piety narrative content of Bao Juan,forms the opportunity of filial piety ethics education,and promotes the mutual construction of social relations.At the same time,Xuan Juan strengthened the collective narrative,promoted cultural identity,promoted cultural inheritance in the cultivation of filial piety ethics,constructed the harmonious order of the place,and condensed the cultural consensus of the people.The text,image and ritual drama of Bao Juan constitute the multi-narrative form of Xuan Juan.Daoist conveys the filial piety ethics thought contained in Bao Juan by means of oral singing,symbolic performance and dramatic behavior performance.The development of Bao Juan text,the narrative form in ritual and the specific ’ performance in narrative finally realize the construction of filial piety culture.The Xuan Juan in Y town was embedded in the local society by seeking the meeting point with the people ’s filial piety demands.Through the Xuan Juan activities,the individual ’s filial piety ethics concept was formed and continuously inherited,and the individual also expressed filial piety to his parents.Xuan Juan is a public event and etiquette practice in local society.It maintains the stability of regional society,promotes social unity and constructs the ethical order of filial piety in local society.
