A Study On The Freehand Nature Of Contemporary Chinese Landscape Oil Painting

The idea of freehand brushwork is a kind of consciousness spirit of traditional Chinese culture,which runs through landscape painting.The expression of freehand in Chinese contemporary landscape oil painting not only reflects the blend of western modernist painting language and Chinese freehand painting language,but also pays attention to the grasp of traditional art techniques and spiritual connotation.Chinese landscape painting mainly uses line and ink to express natural objects,while oil painting uses surface and volume to express objective objects.This paper makes a comparative analysis of the freehand nature of traditional landscape painting and that of contemporary Chinese landscape oil painting.Combining with the creation of the representative painters of Chinese contemporary freehand nature,this paper makes a theoretical exploration from the aesthetic trend of the painters,the connotation of artistic thoughts and representative works,and carries out practical research on the content form,composition,shape,color and other aspects.The freehand nature of landscape oil painting is integrated into the creation of "Passing · Childhood Memory",which improves the creative subject’s expansion of freehand thinking in artistic creation and the mastery of related techniques in practice,enricheth the theoretical research on the freehand nature of contemporary landscape oil painting,and accumulates certain practical experience for the creation of landscape oil painting in the future.
